This design-build project consisted of the removal of Buildings 119 and 120 at Fort Hancock. Included in the work was hazardous material removal, demolition of buildings and associated utilities/appurtenances, and site restoration. Site preparation included removing trash, debris, and vegetative matter except trees, and protecting soil from erosion. Site grades and soils were modified as required for the restoration of the site. Additionally, a gravel parking lot was constructed at building 119.
