This project encompassed the historic renovation of the Hampton Mansion Cupola. The general scope for this cupola restoration project consisted of removal and repair of damaged plaster on the ceiling and interior walls of the cupola. Additionally, the removal and replacement of approximately 600 SF of slate, metal flashing and asphalt underlayment for the slate roof, as well as the installation of lightning protection for the entire home, removal and replacement of the rusticated wood base, full restoration of windows to preserve historic appearance, and restoration of the cupola. The restoration process performed on the cupola, entablatures, and upper/lower finials was executed with meticulous care and detail to preserve the historic character and detail of the Mansion.
