The renovation of the Filene Center called for  selective demolition and replacement of over 400,000 sq. ft. of wood siding, building envelope improvements, window replacement, door  replacement, new railings and lead abatement. Ritz self-performed several different trades on this project, including all project management, demolition, carpentry, flashing, installation of vapor barrier systems, and exterior gypsum sheathing repairs. The exterior siding is fire-treated Douglas Fir and Southern Yellow Pine, sourced from Oregon and delivered to Virginia for installation.
