This is a design-build project for the Federal Highway Administration that includes both the renovation of existing laboratories as well as new construction of additional facilities. The scope of work includes the selective demolition and subsequent renovation of the Aerodynamics Lab (which requires the relocation of existing materials testing equipment), the selective demolition and subsequent expansion of the existing Machine Shop, Coating and Corrosion Lab, and Saxton Lab, as well as the construction of a new exterior viewing platform at the Federal Outdoor Impact Lab.
